A big THANK YOU to from RPC to Doug Kazimir for giving us his time and expertise to bring our organ back to its healthy state.
On Monday evening, March 19, 2018, after we sang a hymn, David presented an “Organ Informance” that gave a perspective on the quality, longevity, and potential of RPC’s pipe organ. Noting that it was this organ that inspired him to become an organist and an organ curator, he went on to say:
- “There is hope in the future in maintaining an organ from the past.”
- “In this time when we have so many distractions, there is a large group of people who love the tradition of Christian worship with hymns. There is still a future for that.”
- “This organ has a heart of gold. The organ has very fine pipe work.”
- “You shouldn’t be afraid. Have faith.”
